20 pounds down.

So I've been keeping track of my weight loss progress on Wii Fit.  Everytime I step on the board, a message comes up telling me my BMI, my weight, and my progress.  This has been a fun tool in helping me get in shape. Yesterday I reached the 20 pound milestone, which is 1/3 or my goal done in less than 2 months.  I hope by October/November to be at my target weight but I feel great about my odds after seeing this kind of progress.  Really, I've just been walking 2-3 miles everyday,  eliminating sugar soda, and eating sensible sized portions of what I was eating before I started all of this.  The biggest factor in all of this is just staying active.  Hanging out playing frisbee with the kids,  walking on my breaks at work instead of surfing the web in my office. Looking forward to staying on the path. I'll keep sawing wood until my goals are achieved.  Thank you to all my friends and family for the support and encouragement on this journey.

Hello ---- A simple yet effective title for my first blog post.

I've always wanted to get into the world of blogging,  so on May 3, 2011 I'm taking my stab at it.  Due to a lack off focus and attention during high school English courses, please excuse my poor grammar.

So, what is the reason for wanting to start my blog?  Well, let's start with the fact that I never run out of things to say.  I figure that I better start putting some of this down in Times New Roman so that others can start bathing in my brilliance.  I will say this,  I plan to be very open and honest with the happenings in my life.  Some names and faces might be changed to protect the innocent (or not so innocent).  So without further adew, here is "The Covenant of The Ark".
